Adobe Volume Licensing
Adobe Creative Cloud for Education
Adobe is offering special K-12 bundle pricing for Creative Cloud for education device licenses through two options, the Adobe K-12 School Site License, and now, the Adobe K-12 District License. Both offerings are available worldwide for primary and secondary (K-12) schools and districts only and purchased through the Value Incentive Plan (VIP). The Creative Cloud for education device license is a license for each computer, rather than each individual user, and is ideal for classroom, lab and student ‘bring your own device’ (BYOD) environments. Creative Cloud for education device licenses may be installed on school-owned or school-leased computers. Work at home usage is available for eligible faculty and staff as well as allowing student deployment on personal devices (BYOD). Adobe’s Creative Cloud offerings are subscriptions. Licenses can be procured for one year terms or prepaid for up to four years.
K-12 School Site Licenses are sold based on each individual school site that will be using the software with a 100 license minimum per purchase for each site. K-12 District Licenses are sold based on each school district that will be using the software with a 500 license minimum per purchase for each district.
This special bundle pricing program is not available to higher education institutions. However, Creative Cloud for Education is still available to higher education institutions through Adobe’s Value Incentive Program for software licensing. For more information call us at (818) 347-1100 and ask for the licensing desk.
Value Incentive Program
Adobe's Value Incentive Program (VIP) is a licensing option that is more flexible to fit your institution's needs. K-12, higher education, and non-profit institutions qualify for this program and can still take advantage of educational and volume discounts on Adobe software. Under this program, single-app licenses or the complete Creative Cloud apps are available. This program allows you to purchase individual licenses on a subscription basis for named users or devices. The user licenses are tied to a specific person and their associated Adobe ID and can use the software they are licensed for on any machine. The device licenses are tied to a specific machine or computer and the licensed software can be used by anyone using that specific machine. There are 4 pricing tiers that are based on how many licenses you purchase and there is no minimum purchase.
Transactional License Program
Schools that have labs with only a small number of seats can still take advantage of volume licensing with Adobe's Transactional Licensing Program. K-12, higher education, and non-profit institutions qualify for this program. Through Adobe's Academic TLP License program, institutions can save through volume licensing of Adobe products over retail pricing with no minimum purchase required. All of the products offered through Adobe's Academic TLP Licensing are functionally identical to the commercial versions.
